All certifications must align with STCW 78, as amended, or STCW 2010.
Certifications labeled as STCW 95 are not considered valid.
Courses Online
BST Courses can be conveniently completed online through the certified center, Italian Maritime Academy Technologies (IMAT).
Alternatively, if there is another certified center of your preference available, you may also complete the course there to fulfill the BST requirement.
Financial Information:
The training BST fee in the “IMAT” is $250 USD, payable in five monthly installments of $50 USD each through your payroll upon commencing employment with MSC Cruise Lines.
Additional Notes:
Although candidates may be responsible for certain expenses like passport fees, BST, and medical examinations, StarQuest does not impose any fees on candidates. If anyone attempts to charge you, please report it immediately (HERE).
